Here's how to use PayPal on Steam , no matter whether you're using the PC or Mac version.

1. Launch the Steam app on your computer.

2. Look through the Steam store and select the items you're interested in purchasing.

3. After you choose what games or other items you want to purchase, head to your shopping cart. Select "Purchase for myself" or "Purchase as a gift."

4. When you reach the "Payment Method" page, click the drop-down box and choose "PayPal," and then "Continue."

5. On the next page, you'll see a yellow PayPal button. Click it and a new page will appear, allowing you to log into your PayPal account.

6. After you log into your PayPal account, select which credit/debit card or bank account you want to use to pay for your Steam purchase.

7. Review the information on PayPal, and then click "Agree & Pay" to use PayPal to pay for your purchase.

Steam will take a moment to process the purchase. Once it does, you'll be sent a receipt, and the items you purchased will be added to your account or sent to the person you gifted them to.
